Their journey began over eight years ago when they both walked into the same jiu-jitsu gym on the exact same day, each starting their trial classes completely unaware that they were stepping into something much bigger. What started as a friendship grew steadily over the course of a year, eventually becoming the kind of relationship that feels grounded, genuine, and deeply rooted. Even Madelyn’s engagement ring carries that same depth of meaning—it was thoughtfully created using her grandmother’s diamond, making it a beautiful symbol of legacy, family, and the life they’re building together.

The stone-lined pathways winding around the lake created the perfect backdrop for quiet, intimate moments, while the nearby Washington County Museum of Fine Arts added a timeless elegance with its stunning columned architecture tucked just beyond the trees.
