Patrick and Chaney-Engagement Session-Fairfax, Virginia

I am so excited to capture these two on their wedding day in July!  They are such a sweet couple and have such a great sense of humor…  Laughter was definitely involved in this engagement session!    I love that they chose this beautiful church for their session because it has special meaning to both of them.  It is the childhood church of Chaney and ironically was also the church that Patrick helped paint many years ago.   Ironic because at that point they did not know each other and it was not until many years later that they realized they were both at the same church and never knew it!  It would be many years before their paths would actually cross again and this time it was the beginning of a sweet love story!  I loved that they wanted to have some images inside the church because they are actually not getting married there and it was important to them to have some memories of them together in such a special place to both of them.  We even took a few pictures of Patrick with his paint roller…LOL!  I also really loved Chaney’s gorgeous engagement ring and think that it is so sweet that the pearl is actually inspired by Anne of Green Gables.  I truly had a wonderful time getting to know these two and can’t wait to capture all of their special moments on their wedding day in July!  Congratulations you two!!!
