I had a fantastic time with this sweet couple while exploring their wedding venue and taking engagement pictures! Rock Hill Plantation is located in Stafford County, Virginia and is a gorgeous wedding venue!  The weather was hot and humid and these two were great sports about their photo session!  Thank goodness the plantation had some beautiful, old trees that provided much needed shade!  I made a new friend with the owner’s cat, which followed me all around as I toured the grounds!  I had a great time meeting Ashleigh and Dan’s family that were able to join them for their wedding planning meeting.  We were able to spend a little bit of time down by my favorite type of tree, the willow tree, to finish off the portrait session.  There is something just so graceful about a willow tree!!! I am really looking forward to their wedding in October and can’t wait to see all of the fall colors at this beautiful location!
