I will never forget the day that I first saw Jose Soto leave his heart on the stage!  He performed at a studio owner workshop and told his story about his life as an immigrant and how he was a self trained dancer that had about 6 months of classical training.  He was ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!  His mantra of “Don’t Think, Just Feel”  explains exactly who he is as a person and a dancer!  We immediately went up to him after his performance and said we have to have you come and teach at our summer intensives in Ashburn.  Three years and many summer intensive and master classes later, he has become part of our studio family.  He just recently relocated from Arizona to Virginia and we are so grateful he is sharing his talents with our dancers on a daily basis as a staff member at the Ashburn Academy of Dance!  Jose Soto is an inspiration to so many people and is an incredible human being!  I am lucky to be able to call him a friend and am so grateful that he is a permanent part of our lives in Virginia!!!  This photo shoot is one I will always cherish!  Jose said “Should I get in the water?”  I said “YES!”  What was created after that was unforgettable!  Who else would stand on his head in the middle of a river??? Only Jose Soto!!
